Cancer and Associated Specialities Division

The Nottingham University Hospitals Trust is a leading cancer Centre, specialising in: cancer diagnosis, treatment; research and education.



Cancer and associated specialties division (CAS) includes the following; Burns, Haematology, Oncology, Palliative care, Plastics, Renal and Transplant, the Specialist Receiving Unit (SRU) and Urology.

We provide cancer services to the local population of Nottingham (population 1.1 million) and are the main tertiary Centre for Lincoln Hospitals, Sherwood Forest Foundation Trust Hospitals, Derby Hospitals, Nottingham Treatment Centre (population 2.4 million), as well as receiving referrals from Leicester and out of area referrals for complex and rare cancers (population 4.1million).

Our strong research and academic links with The University of Nottingham enable us to undertake ground-breaking research into new cancer drug therapies and treatments.
